The owner of another company that specializes in laminated fabrics also revealed: “The current factory operating rate is 100%, new orders continue to be placed, and it can be maintained until June.”
Currently, the operating rate of water-jet and air-jet weaving enterprises in Shengze is 76.5%, an increase of 0.4% from last week. Although the increase is small or even negligible, it still remains at the high level during the year.
The transaction volume of artificial silk is strong
Recently, the transactions in the gray fabric market have been stable and weak, but the transaction volume of individual fabrics has increased slightly, among which the transaction volume of imitation silk fabrics has continued to increase. The sales of SPH fabrics have also increased, mainly due to the wide adaptability of product post-processing. It can be seen that the spring and summer orders for water-jet looms can still be supported, and the market feedback is that the demand support for light and thin fabrics is obviously better than that of thicker fabrics.
Traders hoard goods
At the end of the month, most orders enter the delivery stage, and factories start operations to maintain stable operation. Then the connection with new orders may be interrupted, and the load of some weaving factories fluctuates and adjusts. There have also been an increase in the number of companies selling goods at reduced prices in the market. Due to the current rise in raw material prices, traders have taken the opportunity to purchase gray fabrics at low prices to stock up on goods, so the current inventory of gray fabrics has subsequently dropped.
Manager Wu, who specializes in outdoor functional fabrics, told reporters: “Recently, middlemen have been stocking up a lot, especially those who sell spot goods. They are all preparing for the second half of the year. The spring and summer products are hot now, and the winter products are hot. It was deserted, many manufacturers were selling goods, and spot companies took the opportunity to stock up.”
“There have been a lot of people hoarding goods in the market recently, all in large quantities. If any factory sells goods, it will be bought by traders.” said the person in charge of the main imitation silk business.
