420D Oxford cloth is waterproof and repellent and has 4 levels. —The waterproof ability of 420D Oxford cloth has different levels according to different functions. Oxford cloth with a waterproof pressure of 300mm is generally used as beach tents and outdoor sunshade tents; with a waterproof pressure of 800–1200mm, it is used as a traditional simple camping outdoor tent; with a waterproof pressure of 1500–2000mm, it is used as a mid-range outdoor tent. It is more suitable for several days of travel; with a waterproof pressure of 3000mm or more, it is generally a professional outdoor tent that has been processed with high temperature resistance/severe cold resistance and other technical applications.

Generally speaking, outdoor tents generally use PE or PVC-coated waterproof Oxford cloth as the base material. High-end outdoor tents mostly use PU-coated Oxford cloth as the base material, and the waterproof treatment will be at least 1500mm.
