Water-jet loom uses water to act on the weft medium, and produces friction and traction on the weft yarn through the jet water, and introduces the weft yarn on the fixed bobbin into the shed for weaving.
Water jet loom relies on the friction between high-pressure water flow and spinning yarn to drive the weft yarn through the shed at high speed to complete the weft insertion action. Water-jet looms are widely used due to their low noise, low weaving cost, high speed and high efficiency. Currently there are 3 more colors to choose from in terms of weft count. It can weave various hydrophobic fiber fabrics and is very suitable for the production of large quantities of fabrics.
Water jet loom mainly consists of frame, main drive system, weft insertion system, shedding system, beat-up system, warp let-off system, take-up system, hemming device, scissors device, cloth holding device, and waste silk processing mechanism , lubrication system and control system. The main structure of the water-jet loom is as follows:
(1) Weft insertion system: Generally, a high-pressure water pump and clustered nozzles are used, with single pump and double pump forms.
(2) Opening system: Generally, crank connecting rod opening and dobby opening are used, and cam opening mechanism can also be used.
(3) Beating-up system: Generally, a four-link beating-up mechanism is used.
(4) Warp let-off system: Generally, a mechanical let-off mechanism or an electronic let-off mechanism is used.
(5) Coiling system: Positive continuous coiling mechanism, which can also be equipped with electronic coiling mechanism.
(6) Hemming device: The planetary wheel rope is equipped with a hemming mechanism.
(7) Scissor device: Generally, mechanical cutting is used, and there are also electric heating cutting.
(8) Cloth support device: static cloth fell or floating cloth fell, using upper or lower cloth temples, or full effective width temples.
(9) Waste silk processing mechanism: twist the cut waste edges through a twisting spindle and then pull them out.
(10) Lubrication system: The main transmission system adopts oil bath lubrication, and some parts adopt hand pump or manual regular refueling.
(11) Operating system: It adopts single-chip microcomputer operating system and PLC or PCC operating system, with various detection and control functions.
