Flame retardant finishing process
The fireproofing post-finishing process is to use fireproofing agents and other additives to adsorb, penetrate and diffuse to the surface and interior of the fabric fibers using the high temperature and high pressure bath method under certain conditions of pressure, temperature and time, so that they can interact with the fibers. The active groups in the molecular structure bond to form a macromolecular network structure. Or use padding, spraying, or PU coating methods to deposit and fix the fire retardant on the surface of the fabric fibers to obtain a certain fire retardant effect and washability.
The fireproof finishing of various types of fabrics is described below.
1. Fireproof finishing of cellulose fiber fabric
Cellulose fiber is the earliest fiber to be treated with fireproofing, and it is a much studied topic in fireproofing finishing. At present, the fireproof finishing technology of domestic cotton fabrics is relatively mature, and fireproofing agents can basically be self-sufficient and industrially produced.
