The jacquard weave is to place the yarn on certain needles selected according to the pattern requirements to knit into loops. The knitting needles that are not padded with new yarn will not form loops, and the yarn will be floating. These are not involved in knitting. Behind the knitting needles, the tissue formed by such knitting is called jacquard tissue, and its structural units are loops and floating threads. Jacquard tissue can be divided into single-sided and double-sided, single color and multi-color.
1. Uniform jacquard structure on one side
Generally, different colors or different types of yarn are used for weaving. The number of coils on the rows is the same and the sizes are basically the same. The pattern effect is mainly formed through the combination of different yarns.
2. Single-sided uneven jacquard weave
More single-color yarns are used. Because some knitting needles do not knit in several consecutive rows, elongated loops are formed, that is, the loop sizes are not exactly the same.
3. Double-sided complete jacquard weave
In each knitting system, all dial knitting needles participate in knitting the reverse side loops to form a weave. Also known as horizontal bar reverse double-sided jacquard.
4. Double-sided incomplete jacquard weave
The reverse side of vertical stripes and sesame dots is a double-sided weave made of two colored yarns alternately woven in each row. Jacquard weave, so it is also called incomplete jacquard weave.
5. Open-bottom jacquard
Also known as transfer jacquard, it refers to a structure in which part of the front stitches are transfer knitted during the knitting process. , so that the back loop of the ground tissue is exposed on the front pattern part of the jacquard. As shown in Figure 3, the pattern part on the front is composed of reverse coils, showing a single-sided structure, and the rest is a double-sided structure; the reverse side of the fabric is the same as the sesame dot jacquard, with two colors of coils staggered, giving a sesame dot appearance. . Because the pattern part of the open-bottom jacquard is woven on one side, the front of the fabric has a strong three-dimensional effect and the concave-convex effect is obvious.
Knitting of single-sided jacquard structure
It means that knitting needle 1 and knitting needle 3 enter work under the control of the needle selection mechanism, rise along the jacquard triangle, and proceed Unloop and add new yarn a, knitting needle 2 stops working, and the old loop is still in the needle hook.
Indicates that the new yarn is knitted into a new coil, while the old coil on the knitting needle 2 is still in the needle hook and is elongated due to the pulling force. The old coil is in the needle hook and will not be taken off until knitting needle 2 comes to work in the next pass. The new yarn that is not padded on the knitting needle 2 is a floating thread behind the elongated jacquard loop on the knitting needle 2.
Knitting of double-sided jacquard tissue
Indicates that according to the needs of the pattern, knitting needle 2 and knitting needle 6 are selected by the needle selection mechanism and raised to the unlooping height. , put yarn a on it, knitting needle 4 is not selected.
