Flame-retardant Oxford fabrics can be divided into temporary (disposable), semi-permanent and durable Oxford fabrics according to washability standards.
Temporary flame-retardant process: the use of water-soluble flame-retardant finishing agents, such as sand, tungsten acid, etc., is evenly applied to the fabric by dipping, padding, brushing or spraying. After drying, it has a flame-retardant effect. It is suitable for items that do not need to be washed or are washed infrequently, such as curtains, sunshades, etc. It is economical and easy to handle, but it is not resistant to washing.
Semi-permanent flame retardant process: means that the finished fabric can withstand 10-15 times of gentle washing and still has a flame retardant effect, but it is not resistant to high-temperature soaping. This process is suitable for interior decoration fabrics and high-speed train seats. chairs, covers, etc.
Durable flame-retardant finishing process: the washing frequency can reach more than 50 times, and it can be soaped. It is suitable for frequently washed textiles, such as work protective clothing, firefighting suits, tents, bags, household items and other items.
