What is nylon fabric?
Nylon fabric, also known as nylon fabric, is a woven silk fabric made of nylon filament. It has the characteristics of smooth and fine texture, smooth silk surface, soft hand feel, light weight but strong and wear-resistant, bright color, easy to wash and quick-drying, etc. It is mainly used as a fabric for men’s and women’s clothing. The fabric weave is plain weave, and the changing weave is rhombus lattice, nylon hexagonal lattice, and nylon Oxford lattice.
Features
1. Nylon is made of nylon (see Polyamide fiber) filament woven textile, also known as nylon textile. It has a fine and smooth surface, tough texture, good elasticity and strength. It is a material used for making clothing and high-end decorative packaging. After coating, it can be made into ski jackets, raincoats, umbrellas, etc. There are two types of nylon spun, thin and thick. The thin type weighs about 40g/m2, and the warp and weft yarns are generally made of a single 30-denier nylon yarn; the thick type weighs about 80g/m2, and the warp and weft yarns use a single 70-denier nylon yarn.
2. There is no need to twist the nylon warp and weft yarns. The raw silk needs to be refined, dyed or printed, and heat-set. The thermoplasticity of nylon yarn can also be used to roll various patterns and wrinkles. There are many ways to post-process nylon spun silk. Some can be refined, dyed or printed; some can be calendered or embossed; some can be coated.
3. Nylon spun by fabric whitening, fabric dyeing, fabric printing, fabric calendering, and fabric embossing, the fabric is smooth and dense, the silk surface is smooth, soft to the touch, light and thin. Strong and wear-resistant, bright in color, easy to wash and quick to dry.
Handling and processing
About the pre-treatment of nylon spinning Several key points: the efficiency of removing PAC, the formulation of the desizing process; the removal of oil and other impurities, the selection of chelating agents in the desizing process; if the desizing efficiency is above 95%, the levelness of the dyeing There is no big problem, but the presence of heavy metal ions in the water quality will also affect the dyeing quality. It is recommended to use an acidic regulator with a certain chelating function, and prevent the existence of residual slurry, etc. By solving these problems, the dyeing quality will be guaranteed!

Identification
Nice spinning burning When it melts, it burns slowly. There is no smoke or slight white smoke when burning, and the flame is very little and blue. Has a celery aroma. Gray is a light brown hard lump that is not easy to crush.
The difference between polyester taffeta, pongee, nylon and taslan
1. In terms of raw materials:
Polyester taffeta is 100% polyester, used for lining; pongee is also 100% polyester, with many low-grade varieties; nylon taffeta is also 100% polyester. What we call nylon cloth is made of nylon; Taslon is also a full nylon yarn textile cloth.
2. From the weaving method:
The weaving method of polyester taffeta and nylon yarn It’s the same, it’s a one-up-down weave.
Although the weaving method of Taslan is one up and down, its warp direction is particularly thick, at least twice as thick as its weft direction. Taslon in cotton is called grosgrain.
The weaving method of pongee is roughly the same as polyester taffeta. This is not easy to distinguish, but it can be easily distinguished from the other methods below.
3. From the feel:
Polyester taffeta and nylon Silk spinning is similar, pongee feels very soft, and Taslan feels very astringent.
When comparing, use the fabric burning method. First separate nylon and polyester. Nylon belongs to Taslon and Nylon; polyester belongs to polyester taffeta and polyester. Needless to say, nylon taffeta and taslan are different, but the difference between polyester taffeta and pongee is different in feel. The most important thing is “splitting”. When polyester taffeta is torn, its tear is There are deep splits on the edges and both sides, but there are no pongee. When not tearing the cloth, you can pull it to both sides along the warp direction of the cloth. With a little force, the polyester taffeta will “split”. Spinning will not.
