Good orders received, but the starting load is on the high side

Nylon fabrics and imitation silk are selling well
According to the sample companies monitored by China Silk Capital Network, the overall transaction volume of surface and lining materials has dropped slightly compared with last week. Domestic demand for shipments has declined, orders for spring and summer fabrics are coming to an end, and autumn clothing fabrics have increased in volume. Foreign trade orders have improved slightly, and overall market transactions have picked up compared with the beginning of the month.
Autumn clothing fabrics are showing strong sales, and the market for high-elastic fabrics is the most active. Weaving manufacturers are gradually showing a boom in production and sales, especially the sales of the 50D series of high-elastic pongee series. In addition, the sales of some imitation silk are still there, especially jacquard and cut-out imitation silk fabrics are more popular.

Orders increased, but profits dropped significantly
In terms of market conditions, we can also feel from weekly surveys that the sales volume of textile companies this year is much higher than last year. Many companies have reported that sales this year have increased by 30% compared with last year, but at the same time, there is a lack of large orders, and most orders are placed in small batches and multiple batches.

At the same time, the price of polyester filament, the raw material for polyester, has also risen due to the impact of cost, so the price of gray fabrics is higher than last year. However, buyers have seriously lowered prices and lowered fabric prices, resulting in lower profits for fabric suppliers.
