How to calculate the common weight of cotton
Official weight inspection. It is called the quantitative inspection for short. Here we focus on the quantitative inspection of lint cotton. The public quantity inspection follows the following sequence: first calculate the net weight, then calculate the weight after conversion according to the standard impurity content rate, which is called the standard weight, and then use the standard weight to convert according to the public moisture regain rate to obtain the public weight. Metric inspection is based on batches, and the calculation sequence is as follows: (1) Calculate the net weight. Net weight = gross weight – weight of packaging (2) Calculate the accurate weight. Accurate weight = net weight × (100 – actual impurity content) / (100 – standard impurity content) (3) Calculate the official weight. Conventional weight = accurate weight %, standard moisture regain 8.5%, actual impurity content 2%, and actual moisture regain 8%, the values when substituted into the formula are 2.5, 8.5, 2, and 8 respectively, instead of 2.5%, 8.5%, 2%, and 8% . In order to facilitate everyone’s understanding, here is an example: A certain batch of 229 sawtooth cotton has a net weight of 40.372 tons, an actual measured impurity content of 1.8%, and a moisture regain rate of 7.5%. The nominal weight is calculated and the result is rounded to 0.001 tons. Official weight = Net weight × (100-actual impurity content) × (100 + official moisture regain) / (100 – standard impurity content) × (100 + actual moisture regain) = 40.372 × (100-1.8) × (100+ 8.5)/(100-2.5)×(100+7.5) =41.040 (tons)
