Compared with other models, the transmission system of water-jet looms has a simple structure, mainly direct transmission. In order to improve working performance, there are also some specially designed transmission systems.
Using a direct-drive water-jet loom, the motor directly transmits power to the main shaft through the belt and pulley. Therefore, there is no clutch on the transmission chain between the motor and the main shaft. The mechanism is relatively simple, and when the loom is operated in any way When shutting down, the motors are powered off and stop rotating, thus avoiding idling of the motors. However, in order to shorten the starting and braking time, a larger power motor must be equipped to provide sufficient starting and braking torque. For example, the motor equipped with LW603-230: plain 2.6kW, dobby 317kW; the motor equipped with ZW405-230: plain
217kW, dobby 3.7kW. Even so, when the loom is turned on and beats up, its speed is still lower than the rated value. During beat-up, the loom’s speed still cannot reach the rated speed, which will have an adverse effect on the quality of the fabric. For the V-belt transmission system, the size of the belt should be designed according to the given transmission ratio and transmission power, and the model and number of V-belts used should be selected. This can be done by applying the general mechanical parts design method. Because the V-belt has a certain elasticity, it can play a certain buffering and vibration-absorbing role when it withstands the impact load of the loom.
The motor used in the direct transmission system is directly linked to the loom. In order to increase the starting torque of the motor, the delta connection can be selected from the two motor winding star and delta connections in advance. After starting, During normal operation, switch back to star connection. However, with this transmission method, since the loom starts and brakes very frequently, the current is large during startup, resulting in a decrease in efficiency; during braking, the motor rotor and the small pulley brake together, increasing the braking load.
