Through experiments, under the conditions where the mechanical error is allowed, the most important thing is to achieve good consistency in the carding distance of each eye between the same machine, and the table difference between machines of the same type should be small. During our adjustment process, The eye difference between domestic machines is relatively large, ranging from 0.3mm to 0.8mm to 1mm, which has a great impact on the stability of the quality. After adjusting to a unified level of about 0.25mm, the quality has been significantly improved. It has laid the foundation for the single combing process plan of our factory’s low-nep products. An inspection of the imported Rieter machines showed that the combing intervals of most machines are relatively uniform, generally between 0.3mm and 0.4mmm, and some individual holes also have larger It is about 0.6mm, but in order to improve the quality, we uniformly adjust the carding distance to about 0.25mm.
Adjustment of the top comb spacing. The top comb spacing includes the high and low spacing (insertion depth) and the in and out spacing. It has a great impact on the combing effect. If the top comb is inserted too Deep insertion will lead to intarsia, and too shallow insertion will lead to insufficient combing. Therefore, the insertion depth of the top comb is the deepest without intarsia. In the production process of existing varieties, under the condition of suitable temperature and humidity, the insertion depth of the top comb is at +1mm can be produced smoothly and the index is good.
The entry and exit distance determines the length of fibers that the top comb can comb. When the nipper is in the most forward position, the top comb blade is very close to the separation jaws, and the fiber length it can comb The distance between the top comb and the separation roller is 0.15-0.2mm at 24 degrees.
Cylinder positioning. Regarding the positioning of the cylinder arc plate, it determines how early or late the first row of needle teeth enters the beard bush. The timing of the cylinder is generally at 36 degrees, 37 degrees or 38 degrees. The cylinder positioning of new combing machines generally no longer uses 38 degrees. This is related to the timing of the counter-rotation of the separation roller sooner or later. The fiber is long, so the timing of counter-rotation should be early, and the positioning of the cylinder should also be earlier accordingly. However, for direct rotation As far as the E65 combing machine is concerned, in the trial spinning comparison test of long-staple cotton, the influence of cylinder positioning on the index is not obvious. Similarly, under the same noil requirements, the separation distance during backward feeding is smaller than that of forward feeding, so the carding quality of forward feeding and backward feeding is poor.
